Venice Biennale 57 : ASFI Performance Lunch, part of the Switzerland's official program

The 57th International Art Exhibition takes place in Venice from 13 May to 26 November 2017 (Press Preview 10, 11 and 12 May 2017) at the Giardini and at the Arsenale as well as at various venues in the city. The main exhibition is curated by Christine Macel. The Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia has appointed Curator Koyo Kouoh responsible for the «Salon Suisse» 2017 entitled ATARAXIA, a programme of talks and performances supplementing the exhibition at the Swiss Pavilion, which takes place at the Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi.

ArtSpeaksForItself (ASFI) Lunch Performance (by invitation) Arnaud Cohen initiated the ArtSpeaksForItself foundation to foster dialogue and exchange between artists, curators and critical thinkers. In the face of an art world increasingly shaped by corporate interests, ASFI seeks to facilitate meaningful artist-led encounters set in convivial and intimate settings with a view to break down traditional roles of spectatorship associated with performance.
